How does the Brainetics program work? |
|
The Brainetics program starts with math skills and short cuts to help the student get better and faster at mental processing, while gaining confidence and the ‘that’s not so hard!’ mentality that let’s them take on new challenges.
During the first part of Brainetics, you and your kids will learn exercises and games designed to sharpen your thinking processes with concentration and focus, laying the groundwork for the next stage. Here you will learn a series of math shortcuts that will help you see numbers differently and recognize patterns in dozens of mathematical equations, multiplication and division of short and long numbers.
The advanced portion of the program will teach you to multiply and divide any 2 or 3 digit numbers in your head. You brain will learn to process huge amounts of information, store that information, and do amazing mental feats! The program then moves on to all types of activities that can be applied to any subject - science, language, history, and more!

Will Brainetics work on my computer? |

Brainetics is a DVD program, not software, so as long as you have a video player on your desktop or laptop computer, you can watch and learn the Brainetics program.

Do I need to do this with my child? |
|
No. The Brainetics program was designed to be done independently, however, since the Brainetics program teaches valuable processing and thought development skills for everyone in the family, it is a great program to do individually or as a group.

How much time does the program take? |
|
Brainetics has 15 different sections to the learning levels and challenges, and are designed to be learned as quickly or as slowly as the individual needs. Each section is approximately 20 minutes long and will require additional practice time to master each section. It is recommended that each section is thoroughly understood before moving on to the next section.

My child is learning disabled – can Brainetics help my child? |

Since Brainetics is based on basic learning principles and is designed as a learn-at-your-own-pace program, Brainetics can be mastered by learning disabled individuals as well as gifted children.
